A mobile insurance application built for Asirom — one of Romania's leading insurance companies. The app enables customers to manage policies, report claims, and access support directly from their phone.
The Challenge
Asirom needed to reduce the volume of claims calls handled by their contact centre while improving customer satisfaction scores. Customers were frustrated by the inability to self-serve on policy management tasks — checking policy status, reporting minor claims, and accessing documentation all required a phone call or branch visit.
Our Approach
Built a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android using React Native — delivering a single codebase that maintained a native feel on both platforms
Integrated directly with Asirom's existing policy management backend via a secure REST API, with OAuth 2.0 authentication and encrypted data transmission
Designed a streamlined claims reporting flow that reduced the average report completion time to under 4 minutes — including photo upload and GPS location capture
Implemented push notifications for policy renewal reminders, claim status updates, and document ready alerts
Built an in-app document viewer allowing customers to access and download policy documents without contacting support
Conducted full QA testing including device compatibility testing across 20+ Android and iOS device configurations
